Mary`s Harborview Cafe in St. Augustine

The Big Bubba is southern comfort on a plate. Giant biscuits piled high with sausage gravy, generous portions of home fries or grits. Get the home fries. They are delightful. The ambiance is upscale cozy cafe with large windows looking out over the boulevard and the bay. Wait staff is charming and makes breakfast so enjoyable especially when seated at the countertop.

Wendy was amazing! She was so kind was so fast being the only one on the floor! The food was amazing! I definitely recommend the Belgian Waffles!!! So good! We are coming back for sure! The chefs did amazing!!

This place is small and quaint with a view out plate glass, as it states, of the harbour. The coffee and breakfast food were excellent. .

Great place for breakfast. Small friendly place with well cooked traditional breakfasts. Oatmeal and fresh fruit was just as it should be. Nice French toast.

First timer... Absolutely delicious. The Belgium Waffle is to die for. My husbands slice of ham was so thick. First come first serve tables as this restaurant stays packed. But now I know why. Highly recommended..

Best place for breakfast. Bay view and great service. They will make you whatever you want even if not on the menu. They have delicious cafe Latte. The wait staff are so informative and nice.

The "Top Omelet" was amazing as well as the Belgian waffles. Our server Wendy was amazing, very kind, and gave a great food recommendation!

The menu was a little pricey for breakfast, but the food was good and the setting pleasant. I highly recommend the Nova Scotia Omlet.

Very cool place in downtown. The food was great, service was decent, and the place had a real mom and pop feel with the owner even swung around to say hi to everyone. The food does take a little longer than it probably should to get out but as long as it’s good it’s worth the wait. We only have two complaints, the air was out the day we stopped in, and #2 even though there were plenty of open seats we got sat right next to the door. I would highly recommend either changing seats or leaving if you get a front door seat, the sun will be in one of your parties eyes the entire time while the other person will have the sun on their back for the rest of the time and be sweating by the time you leave. Definitely not how I want to start my day. All in all decent place depending on where you sit and how much time you have.

It's a small Cafe with a view of the intercostal waterway in St. Augustine FL and it seems to have good food, though they mostly focus on breakfast but they only serve it until noon, the lunch food is good but they don't have a lot of it, especially compared to the breakfast foods they offer, the only other thing they could do to make an improvement to their restaurant would be to switch from Coke soda products to Pepsi products

I giving it 2 stars because we did like the food but I gotta say the staff is not the friendliest and the wait times to have someone take the order and then wait for it makes it not worth for us to come back. If you wake up and you are hungry for breakfast, don't come here. Scrambled Eggs and biscuits that are already baked shouldn't take 50 min, specially in a place were it seats probably less than 20 people.

Best breakfast in St. Augustine! Friendly staff with quick service. Get there early to avoid the rush, but even if you have to wait, it's worth it! My husband said it was the best Belgian waffle he'd ever had, & my Eggs Benedict were divine! We'll definitely be back!

Awesome biscuit and gravy. Creamy, peppery and flaky biscuit underneath. Hubby's western omelet was stuffed with fresh hand cut peppers, onions, ham , just tons of flavor. You are missing out if you dont try this little gem of a place.

Service was quick. Omelette was very good with mushrooms. Served with home fries. Unfortunately, all we could taste in the home fries was burned sides.The little bubba came with 2 eggs, 2 sausage patty and biscuit with gravy..The gravy was delicious. The biscuit could use a upgrade with cooking grease used on bottom. Not so tasty on bottom portion.

Excellent breakfast. Delicious Greek omelet. The fresh baked biscuit was white and fluffy light. And, IDK where they get their fresh fruit, but every piece was ripe to perfection. So, that's why one goes to a cafe, but there is more - view, patient staff, clean, fair prices.No one is perfect, neither is the coffee. Therefore, maybe it isn't technically 5 stars. How about 4.8?

A great little diner! It was small inside with a coffee counter, and windows overlooking the harbor. The waitresses look like they had been there for a minute and were very friendly as well as efficient. The French toast was perfect!! The coffee never stopped coming and it was a great experience. Probably the best breakfast we've had in St Augustine.

Delicious breakfast!!! Had marys egg Benedict , big fluffy bisquit, ham, egg and hollandaise sauce, very good! Nice atmosphere ,great service!!!

The best of the best for breakfast, just the way you like it, in St. Augustine. I ordered a spinach and mushroom omelette and requested a topping of hollandaise and man, this did not disappoint. Fresh spinach and mushroom were the first surprise when I bit into my monster meal. Mmmmm ... super delish, but I was wise and got a biscuit instead of toast and with intention, ordered a side of sausage gravy so I could sneak in an additional sampling of the other breakfast special they offer. Suffice it to so, I left completely stuffed to the gills, happy, and had to walk slower than normal for the next half hour. What a wonderful experience. We will make this a must stop place every time we're in town.

It was open early and we had some very tasty food. They were sadly all out of muffins and pastries but the food we got was great quality, came quick and our waitress was top notch! Very small space but right across from Matansas and we had a nice view of the fort from the window seat. Thank you for being the first place we ate in St Augustine on our Foodie Honeymoon. Delicious!

Small quaint cafe in the historic district. Wonderful breakfast!! Biscuits & gravy and Southern omelet are two of the best items on the menu. Fresh fruit bowl is a nice variety of truly fresh fruit. Great friendly service.

My roommate and I tried this place out this morning for breakfast. Wow. Food looked and tasted spectacular. The iced coffee was delish as well. Would love to come back. Next time, I will opt to not put syrup on my Belgian waffle. It was sweet enough on its own.

Food was delicious and staff was great. The place is small so you may have to wait outside while spade clears up due to COVID limitations. Other than that (which is perfectly understandable), no complaints!

While visiting Saint Augustine, our family decided to try Mary’s Harbor View Cafe for breakfast and it was a disappointing experience for us. Unfriendly service, even though we called them ahead and advised we were a family of 5. Very small place. We did not receive a warm and welcoming service. Therefore, after carefully noticing they were not going to provide us with good and friendly service, we decided to leave their establishment.

Kindly staff and delicious breakfast. Quaint little cafe, feels more like eating Grandma's kitchen that in a restaurant. Big biscuits and good folks.

Great spot to get some traditional homemade breakfast. Quick diner service with great staff. View of the Harbor with the benefit of A/C on a hot day. Solo diners may appreciate the "bar" setting for your breakfast instead of sitting at a table. Seating for 1, 2 or 4 is best at this location.Great breakfasts!!

This is my go-to place for lunch and coffee every time I'm downtown. I can't express enough how relaxing and nice this place is, as well as how great the food is. I almost am reluctant to review it because I don't want it to start being overly crowded. But they certainly deserve the business. Check them out.

Now, this place was delicious!!! Absolutely amazing food for breakfast. I couldn't imagine omelets could taste as good as they do until I came here! I just wish you guys can come and cook for us in Deltona!! Thank you for the breakfast!

Haven't even finished it yet. So good! Ever go out to eat, order something, then get surprised at how good the food is? That's this place... Get the waffles.

Without exaggeration, we both believe that was the best restaurant breakfast we've ever had. The ingredients and the care of preparation were unusually good. The restaurant is small and it was continuously jam packed and it took us a while to get our food, but the wait was absolutely worth it. My friend had the Big Bubbha and I had the Greek omelette. If you can't decide on what to get, try those.

Had a great breakfast here on a weekday morning. Pretty small and filled up quickly, but the service was excellent and our breakfast was very good. We ordered the breakfast sandwich with sausage on a bagel and a breakfast plate with eggs, sausage and grits. Served quickly and very tasty. If you go after 8am paid parking (street) is required unless you are a hotel guest. We were there early so it was free. Will return in the future.

Good food with a nice view of the harbor of course. Very helpful servers. I had eggs Benedict that had a biscuit as the base. Unusual but good.
